Trump is Fever Free and Doing Well, Says Medical Team

President Trump has been fever-free for the last 24 hours and his nasal congestion, cough, and fever are improving according to his medical team at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The President will stay at the Medical center for the next few days as a precaution. Sean Conley said, “This morning the President is doing well and has been fever-free for 24 hours.”

Trump was flown to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for COVID-19 treatment as several cases emerged among his allies and top advisers. The attention is focused on last week’s White House event with several attendees of the event tested positive for coronavirus.

The Next 48 Hours will be Critical

The Next 48 hours will be critical for the President as Trump fights the virus, a source familiar with the health of the President informed reporters.

“The President has shown improvement in the last 24 hours and the next two days will be critical in terms of his care. We are still not on a clear path to a full recovery.” The source told White House pool reporters after the briefing from Trump’s doctor.

Confusion Regarding President’s Health

Conley refused to provide information about when doctors believe President Trump contracted the coronavirus, or when he was last tested negative, or even how many people around the president have been exposed to the virus, as the president rarely wears a mask.

While the President was at the White House, he was administered a promising treatment, the experimental Regeneron polyclonal antibody cocktail. However, the FDA has not yet approved the treatment. It was intended to boost the immunity of the President as he fights COVID-19.

When the President was transported to the hospital, Conley said doctors are initiating Remdesivir, the antiviral drug, which has shortened the recovery time for several coronavirus patients.
